Please join the Ruthless Grip Poetry Series for a reading by Elizabeth Willis and Nancy Kuhl on Saturday, May 12, at 8:00PM.

ELIZABETH WILLIS is the author of four books of poetry, including TURNERESQUE (Burning Deck, 2003), THE HUMAN ABSTRACT (Penguin, 1995), and SECOND LAW (Avenue B, 1993). Her most recent project, METEORIC FLOWERS (Wesleyan 2006), takes on Erasmus Darwin, the pastoral tradition, the Baudelairean prose poem, and the FBI. Currently she is editing a collection of essays on Lorine Niedecker. She teaches at Wesleyan University.

NANCY KUHL's first full-length collection of poems, THE WIFE OF THE LEFT HAND, was published in 2007 by Shearsman Books. She is co-editor of Phylum Press, a small poetry publisher. She is Associate Curator of the Yale Collection of American Literature at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University.

Pyramid Atlantic Art Center is located at 8230 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, MD, three blocks from the Metro red line.
