Back now after a week traipsing around hotspots in SF. One highlight among many highlights was the reading Saturday night -- reviewed by last name Nicoloff. The Artifact Reading is a house series that has outgrown its space, but outgrown in a good way. See pictures thanks to Stephanie's camera. Maybe it was just the featured poets, Juliana Spahr and Chris Nealon, but the turnout swelled to a couple dozen folks, many of whom were familiar faces though it was my first time meeting them in person. The only other kinds of occaision when we recognize that many people together in the same place are weddings and funerals.
