i think i'd rather slit my throat than go (disembodied poetics?) but for people with less buffalo baggage i think this looks great. buffalo's good at putting on conferences, too. even the small conferences--as you'll attest, kap, via your experience w/the zuk conference--are warm, intellectually stimulating, and fun.

ooh...touchy subject but you may want to revise to Bhanu Kapil...she got a divorce and no longer uses her ex-husband's sur name...
bhanu is the shit by the way...one of naropa's best...if not THE best...

and yeah, i loved vertical interrogation of strangers, but i need to check out more.
unfortunatly her other book, a chapbook, can't remember the title, cyborg something, is WAY out of print...virtually impossible to find....
looking forward to her next book...
