Spent Sunday morning with another state-side release by Ken Bruen, London Boulevard. Always still full of the literary citations. It's not unusual to find Bruen mentioning hard-boiled faves like George Pelicanos or Derek Raymond, but this time his protagonist, a released convict, was even reading Kevin Whelan.
