nope, the ipod is kaput. and it is 14 months old, so the warranty just ran out. damn that steve jobs. (but for batteries, maybe your warranty is still good, ms. warren?)
so... i am debating whether to mail it in for repairs ($$) or buy a cheaper new one ($$$).
