A local news station just interviewed me while I was out shoveling snow on the front sidewalk. They asked me why I was doing it. I said that lots of kids and elderly people walk up and down our sidewalk. I resisted saying that my wife is kind of clumsy too. Reporter: "Are you aware that there is a fine if you don't shovel the snow within 24 hours? Do you think that's fair?" Me: "I don't know. I haven't thought much about it. Why, are people being fined?" Reporter: "One of your neighbors would have to rat you out to the police." Me: "Really? Is there a scandal going on right now or a controversy? Are you investigating whether neighbors rat out other neighbors? Whoah. " That pretty much ended the interview.
