first attempt at garden

M & I are having little contest. She is responsible for the starter plants, including the tomatoes (bottom right), the peppers (top right), cucumbers (left and right of middle stones), and the eggplant (currently invisible underneath large tomato plant). As more of a gardening purist, I thought it better to start with seeds: beans, decorative corn, eggplant, pumkin, and other things that I have forgotten already. M planted the marigolds because they supposedly keep away the bugs. You can't see it, but there is poison ivy growing up the fence to the left. I am still a little nervous to go near it since that fiasco last July.
